The key to a supernaturally abundant harvest to meet your every need, is the abundance of your seed. If your seed is so precious to you that it touches your heart, it will also touch the heart of God to multiply your seed into the harvest you need most.

David, King of Israel understood that the power of a seed is that it costs you something.

In the 24th chapter of II Samuel, Israel was suffering from a devastating plague, where 70,000 of the children of Israel had already died. David confessed to the LORD his sin that had caused the plague and was instructed through the prophet Gad to go to the threshing floor of Araunah and build an altar and make an offering for God to heal Israel from the plague.When Araunah saw David coming he bowed before his King and asked him why he had come. David said, “To buy your threshing floor” … “so I can build an altar to the LORD, that the plague on the people may be stopped.” As a devoted subject, Araunah offered to give to his king, the threshing floor, the oxen for the burnt offering even ox yokes for the wood.It is then that David explains the miracle secret to the seed that has been passed down through the ages.“No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.”When Araunah saw David coming he bowed before his King and asked him why he had come. David said, “To buy your threshing floor” … “so I can build an altar to the LORD, that the plague on the people may be stopped.” As a devoted subject, Araunah offered to give to his king, the threshing floor, the oxen for the burnt offering even ox yokes for the wood.It is then that David explains the miracle secret to the seed that has been passed down through the ages.“No, I insist on paying you for it. I will not sacrifice to the LORD my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing.”So David bought the threshing floor and the oxen and paid fifty shekels of silver for them. David built an altar to the LORD there and sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. Then the LORD answered his prayer in behalf of the land, and the plague on Israel was stopped.

David, King of Israel, a man after God’s own heart, understood that it is the seed that costs you something, so precious that it touches your heart … that touches the heart of God and releases your miracle to meet your need.
