About David Cerullo

Several weeks before his father, Morris Cerullo passed, he and Theresa called and asked David to take the leadership of Morris Cerullo World Evangelism, as President and CEO, when Morris went on to his reward.

On December 17th, 2020, the MCWE Board met and unanimously voted to appoint David Cerullo to the Board as the new President and CEO of MCWE.

David CERULLO is a unique combination of minister and corporate business builder. After graduating from Oral Roberts University with a degree in business administration and management and being ordained in 1974, David worked extensively throughout Europe, Latin America, Africa, and Asia, organizing projects for both ministry and business.

Continually exercising his entrepreneurial drive, he founded a public relations firm and an advertising firm, as well as a real estate development and construction company. There, David acquired expertise in handling projects that ran the spectrum from major hotels and commercial office buildings to subdivisions for single-family homes and apartments.

In 1990, Cerullo combined his strong business skills with his passion for ministry when he became President and CEO of The Inspiration Network, at the time a fledgling cable television network. With God’s help and guidance, David built the ministry from a single cable network into a far-reaching media ministry that powerfully impacts the world for Christ. Today, through its various outreaches, Inspiration Ministries reaches people with the Gospel in over 200 nations.

David Cerullo is a member of the Cable and Telecommunications Association for Marketing and the National Association of Television Program Executives. He was previously a member of the National Cable Television Association and served on the board of the National Religious Broadcasters Association for more than 10 years. In 2016, he was inducted into the 50th Anniversary Class of Cable Television Pioneers. In 2018, he was named to the Cablefax Top 100, honoring the industry’s top power players. David also was honored with a Doctor of Divinity degree from Promise Christian University for his contributions to Christian television.

In addition, David has authored over 20 books and created numerous award-winning documentaries and television specials. He is married to Barbara, his wife of over 50 years. Together they have two children and five grandchildren.
