“ALL THINGS BECOME NEW” is God’s promise that redemption and restoration extends to every part of our life.
OLD SINS ARE FORGIVEN, OLD DEBTS ARE PAID, OLD BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS ARE RESTORED, OLD CHRONIC DISEASES ARE HEALED, AND THE OLD CURSE OF POVERTY IS BROKEN RELEASING A NEW LIFE OF ABUNDANCE AND BLESSING.
THE OLD IS GONE AND THE NEW IS HERE!
“We will believe God with you for the life-changing power of the NEW to break through into your life on that special day, the Day of Atonement, Sunday, September 24th.
The Day of Atonement was God’s gift of redemption, restoration reconciliation, and renewal to His Children Israel.
God gave the children of Israel specific instructions for the Day of Atonement, giving us a prophetic pattern of our redemption through the shed blood of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary.
One Day … for all Generations!
The sacred Day of Atonement began with the ceremonial cleansing of the High Priest. The High Priest would first proceed to the Altar of Incense where he would burn fragrant incense filling the air with a sweet aroma, symbolizing the prayers, petitions, and praise of God’s people ascending into Heaven.
The High Priest would stand before the Ark of the Covenant, sprinkle the blood of the sacrificial lamb on the Ark, and then emerge from the Holy of Holies and declare to the Children of Israel: God had accepted their atonement offering and their sins were forgiven.
The children of Israel would respond with the blowing of the Shofar and spontaneous praise and thanksgiving … their sins had been forgiven, the old had passed away and ALL THINGS WERE NEW!
The glorious promise for you and I is that our sins have been atoned for by the blood of our spotless lamb, our High Priest, the Lord Jesus Christ. We, therefore, celebrate the Day of Atonement, as God’s commanded blessings for all generations … FOR ALL THINGS TO BECOME NEW!
God has given us one single command to receive His commanded blessings on His appointed Feast Days.
“No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed.”
(Leviticus 16:16)
