As I was meditating and studying for this message … this blog post, the Spirit of God began to minister to me that the men and women in the Church, year after year, hear of testimonies of nations that are being changed by the power of God. Then they look at their own nations and wonder, “Why not my own country?”
Sometimes you hear testimonies about cities that have been shaken by the power of God. You look at your city, and it looks impossible.
Look at this conversation between Philip and Nathaniel:
Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
John 1:45-46
Nathaniel thought for sure that the Messiah could not come from an area like Nazareth just as you think that revival has passed your city by.
Hear the Word of the Lord today! I believe God is about to take you into a new dimension of faith and God is about to move in your life!
What you thought was impossible, God will make possible.
You don’t serve a dead God … you serve a living God! He is the same yesterday, today, and forever!
As the apostle Philip said, “Come and see.”
You may think nothing good can happen in your country. You might think nothing good can happen in your city, but … come and see!
It will happen in your nation!
It will happen in your city!
It will happen in your community!
The hand of God is going to come. It will touch your nation. It will touch your city. The power of God will change your community.
You serve a mighty God!
You serve a living God!
