With so much bad news these days, there is finally a great victory brewing in Florida. Florida lawmakers are calling for a near total ban on abortion. If the bill is approved, performing an abortion in Florida would carry a first-degree felony charge and up to 30 years in prison.

For this victory to take place, much prayer will be required, as the devil will undoubtedly do his best to stop it. The Church, though, does have a responsibility to intercede.

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin (James 4:17).

Many do not understand that this Scripture even applies to praying for things that we should be praying for. Too often, the Church just sits idly by and waits for things to happen. And when something doesn’t happen, they are quick to complain.

Beloved, let’s not be complainers. Complaining does not accomplish anything. Instead, let us be doers of the Word.

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves (James 1:22).

Prayers are a great tool to bring down strongholds and to accomplish goals.

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much (James 5:16).

Say this faith declaration out loud: Father, I will be a doer of the Word and I will pray diligently for the Florida law on abortion to be passed. I understand that as a Christian, it is my responsibility to pray for Your will to be done. And I know that this is definitely Your will.
