In this new year, 2019, God is going to open your spiritual eyes so that you will be able to see beyond the boundaries … the spiritual limitations … that you have formed in your mind. God is going to take you beyond your own limitations and bring you into a new spiritual dimension, where there are no limitations to what God can and will do in and through you.
- You are going to be challenged to re-evaluate your priorities. You will line them up with God’s Word, according to His direction and leading in your life.
- You are going to be challenged, as never before, to rely upon and cling to God for His strength, wisdom, and guidance, instead of trusting in yourself and your own strength.
- You are going to be challenged to step out in faith to bring every area of your life … your mind, your thoughts, your desires, your body, and your fleshly appetites … into submission to the Holy Spirit.
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Joshua 1:9
Together, we will face this exciting year of:
- Spiritual conquest and victory
- Intensive spiritual training
- Mobilization
- Challenges
God has given me a special Word of exhortation to give to you. It has to do with a spiritual CHARGE or directive. As the children of Israel prepared to cross over the Jordan River to take possession of the Promised Land, God spoke through Moses and gave Joshua a spiritual charge (an order, an instruction). He said:
… Be strong and of a good courage: for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I will be with thee.
Deuteronomy 31:23
The apostle Paul gave a charge to Timothy:
I CHARGE thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
II Timothy 4:1
New spiritual energy that you never dreamed you possessed is going to be released into your life. Once you recognize the strategies that Jesus used to defeat Satan, and begin to use them in your personal life, you will find yourself being changed into His image.
- You will be able to operate in the power and glory that God has purposed for your life.
- You will be able to face every test, every trial, every temptation, and every attack from the enemy in the power of the Holy Spirit.
- You will conquer an enemy who has already been defeated.
- You will be able to operate in the same power and anointing that Jesus operated in.
- You will heal the sick, cast out demons, and raise the dead!
Say this faith declaration out loud:
When God says, “Seek my face,” His face I will seek. I will call upon Him while He is near. I am a work in progress. The glory of God lives within me.
