Are you facing circumstances that seem impossible? Check your tongue … are you speaking God’s Word, which brings life and blessing? Or are you murmuring and complaining that brings cursing?
To walk in the powerful dimension, where we are speaking the Word and getting the same results that Jesus got, we must set a watch over our mouth and refuse to allow any negative words of doubt, fear, or unbelief come from our mouth. We must guard our tongue so that we do not murmur or complain.
And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord … and his anger was kindled…
Numbers 11:1
There are many Christians today who are living in defeat because they are speaking words of fear, doubt, and unbelief instead of speaking faith-filled words that are based upon God’s promises. Instead of speaking God’s Word into their circumstances, which brings life, they are murmuring and complaining.
When they are sick, they murmur and complain. They continually talk about their sickness, their aches and pains, about how bad they feel, instead of speaking forth faith-filled words that are based upon God’s promises. As a result, they are speaking cursing upon themselves instead of God’s blessings.
There are Christians who are facing problems in their finances. Instead of trusting God, and speaking His promises into their circumstances, they are murmuring and complaining. They are continually talking about their lack, how they never seem to have enough money, and their inability to meet their financial obligations. Instead of speaking God’s Word, which will release the supernatural power of God and bring victory, they are speaking words of doubt and unbelief, which will bring cursing into their circumstance.
If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
II Timothy 2:13
God’s Word and His promises are eternal, infallible, and impregnable. His Word is alive! When we speak it forth, in faith, a supernatural life force is released into our circumstances! God never intended for His promises to be dependent upon us … upon our faith, upon our ability, or upon our strength. When we have the written, living Word of God living within us, our heart and mind will be filled with His word, and we will speak His Word into our circumstances! God’s Word will not fail!
