Daily, people around the world are suffering with chronic ailments that doctors have been unsuccessful in treating, and oftentimes, even unsuccessful in determining the cause. But, is there a different source for answers? What does the Word of God say?
… Jesus went about … healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
John 9:35
God is not the creator of sickness, or any evil thing, and it is not His will for sickness to reign in this Earth.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
John 10:10
The “thief” that Jesus is referring to in this verse is the devil. All of the blessings of God, which include health and prosperity, can be stolen from us by acting in disobedience to God’s Word, thereby giving the devil an opportunity to take away the things that God has provided.
God never intended for man to experience pain, sickness, disease, or death. When He created Adam and Eve, and placed them in the garden, they were perfect. There was no sin. But the day that they disobeyed God, they died a spiritual death, and sin entered the world. And along with sin came sickness, disease, and death.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 5:12
But praise God, Jesus came to the Earth in the form of flesh and blood and was anointed by God to destroy the works of the devil.
Beloved, it is God’s will to heal every person of every disease – ALWAYS!
In the following verse, the Psalmist confirms that the Lord not only forgives all of our sins, but that He also heals all diseases.
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
Psalm 103:2-3
And the good news is that Jesus does not play favorites. He loves all of His children the same, and what He will do for one, He will do for another.
So, there is no reason to accept sickness and pain; Jesus has already paid the price for it. To receive all of His blessings, just invite Him into your heart, and then ask Him to heal your body.
Say this faith declaration out loud: Dear Lord Jesus, I no longer want this sickness and pain. I ask You into my heart, and I ask You to heal my body. I thank You right now for my healing, and I thank You that You guide me in receiving all that You have for me.
