Beloved, I do not need to know the specifics of what you are going through right now in your life. Trust me. I feel the attacks of the enemy, too. I can recall the countless times I have gone into battle on your behalf as we head into a School of Ministry or one of my World Conferences, and even now as we near the completion of the Legacy Center … the enemy stages harsh attacks upon my whole ministry … and what I do know, is how to live and fully depend on the promises of God.
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior…”
Isaiah 43:1-3, NIV
I want you to know, my beloved partners in Christ, God Himself will restore … He will make us strong, firm and steadfast. During this time of strife, I am led to share four specific steps for you to break the bonds of the enemy off your life, off your family, off your finances, and off your ministry.
Step #1 – You must get spiritually violent!
You must shake yourself out of your complacency and draw upon the power of the Holy Spirit to actively and continually resist … fight against the enemy.
Step #2 – Stop reacting to your circumstances and take a step of faith!
All your thoughts, words, and actions are to be based upon the faith of God. You can try everything you know to do, but until you STEP OUT IN FAITH AND ACT upon God’s promises, you cannot receive.
Step #3 – Turn the battle around … take back what Satan has stolen!
You cannot win the battle as long as you remain in the defensive position! You must NOT sit back, waiting for the enemy to attack you. You must GET UP, change your position, and use the power and authority God has given you to REBUKE Satan and take back what he has stolen from you.
Step #4 – Come before God and present yourself a living sacrifice.
As we die to self and put to death the works of the flesh, we will be resurrected in His power. God releases within us the resurrection life that is in Jesus.
