Christian beliefs and values are under attack, and Christians themselves are under pressure to set aside their deeply-held beliefs.
Where is the Church? What has happened to the moral compass of this once-great nation? Why are more Christians not fighting for their religious freedom rights, according to the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America? Is this what our brave soldiers fought and died for in WWI and WWII?
Church, it is time to wake up and reclaim what the devil has stolen. There is a battle going on. If we don’t engage the enemy right now with our full artillery of spiritual weapons, it may be too late.
Every day, more and more ground is taken by the devil. Very, very soon every church in America may find compromise being preached from the pulpit, and being accepted by those who sit in the pews. What will pastors do when they are forced to choose between upholding God’s holy Word and facing severe persecution? Many churches and denominations have already elected to push God out rather than risk losing members and money and having to deal with potential law suits.
The prophet Daniel warned us about Satan’s end-time plan:
His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; He shall destroy fearfully, And shall prosper and thrive; He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people.
Daniel 8:24
Unfortunately, the devil has been quite successful in his goal to derail the Church. Daily we see the wheat fields being more overrun by the tares. But the Lord has told us what will happen to the wicked:
Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
Isaiah 13:9
Do not succumb to the wiles of the devil. Instead, stand up and fight for what belongs to you. Fight to uphold God’s Word. Fight for righteousness and morality. Fight for all things that are noble, pure, lovely, and of good report. It is time to take back our Promised Land.
Say this faith declaration out loud: Lord, I love you, and I am so grateful that Jesus suffered and died for me. I will not give in to pressure to turn from God and embrace the devil’s evil ways. I will stand strong and trust You to protect me, even in this exceedingly wicked time.
