Many people today have a hard time believing in miracles, or that it is even God’s will to heal. Fortunately, God uses books, movies, news stories, and many other means to open the eyes of the blind to see things that thus far they have been unable to see.
Jesus asked the sick man … “Do you wish to get well?” (John 5:6, NASB).
Beloved, if your answer is “yes,” open your heart and allow God to talk to you in His language of faith! Come to him with simple, childlike faith, and believe that He will do exactly what He has promised!
But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord,
James 1:6-7, NASB
You may ask, “How do I get the faith I need to receive from God?”
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ (Romans 10:17, NASB).
Faith comes where the will of God is known. This means that you must take the time to study God’s Word so that you can know His will. You cannot possibly truly know in your heart what His will is on healing, unless you study what He says on the subject. And the Bible is full of His promises to heal.
My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight; Keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life to those who find them And health to all their body.
Proverbs 4:20-22, NASB
Jesus said that if you have faith, nothing shall be impossible to you. What things in your life seem impossible? Are you suffering from sickness or chronic pain? Do you need a miracle?
You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.
Acts 10:38, NASB
It is not a question of Christ’s willingness to heal.
Jesus said … “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23, NKJV).
God’s power is immeasurable, unlimited, and unchanging! It is His will to heal you. He stands ready and willing to heal all who come to Him in faith.
