  • Advent and The Coming of The King – ChristianHeadlines.com

Beloved, let’s take a moment to slow down from all the hustle and bustle of mindless busyness during this season and remember the reason for the season … the eternal Jesus Christ. The season is one of anticipation and hope. For most, it is not just a time of celebration of a moment in time when a baby was born, but also looks beyond to a time when the Bible tells us Jesus will come again in power and with authority. Let’s focus on our faith … our hope … our salvation … and our peace during this Advent season.

But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

I Peter 5:10

I will believe with you for God to bring you into a breakthrough experience that will give you the ability to comprehend and appropriate one of the greatest of His gifts … the gift of faith.

God wants to give you an experience! God wants to take you into a new and more powerful dimension of operational faith than you ever thought could be possible! He wants you to have a full revelation within your spirit of the kind of faith that He has planned for you to have operating in your life.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Jeremiah 29:11, NIV

To experience the supernatural faith of God being manifested in your life, you must be willing to take the mask off. If you have been struggling with your faith and going through a time of testing and confusion, then you must be willing to get it into the open. Allow God to manifest Himself in your life. It will take a total death to self and the complete surrender of all that you have and all that you are. If you don’t die to your own will, then you will never rise to the experience that God wants to bring you into.

For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

Romans 8:24-25, NIV

If there was ever a time that the Church needed to manifest the faith of God to meet the desperate needs of a lost and dying world, it is now … today. We are called and anointed by God to bring healing and deliverance to our neighborhood, city, and nation. The only way that we will be able to minister to these despondent souls is to possess the supernatural faith of God, and allow it to be released through us.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15:13

Even the most devout Christians must remind themselves to stop, focus, and get into the Presence of the Lord to praise, worship, and make their requests known. It’s a time of reflection of God’s redemptive acts of Christ … not just in the birth of Jesus Christ, but also in His death for us to live.

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31
