BREAKING NEWS: AUTHOR JONATHAN CAHN DESCRIBES VIOLENT AIRLINE ATTACK AS A BATTLE AGAINST SPIRITUAL DARKNESS

Jonathan Cahn, author, minister and Messianic rabbi, described a violent confrontation aboard an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Newark as an extraordinary episode of what he believes was spiritual warfare.

According to Cahn’s account, he was returning home after appearing in Dallas to announce his newly released book, The Altar of Pergamon. Cahn was seated in first class beside 67-year-old male, whose name may not be disclosed.

Cahn says he had intended to spend the flight working, but sensed that he should put his work aside and speak with his seatmate about God. Then, according to Cahn, the atmosphere changed dramatically. Cahn says the man put his hands around his neck in what he described as a chokehold. Cahn has recalled that his assailant was laughing as he did it. After releasing him, he reportedly saw Cahn’s computer and the cover of The Altar of Pergamon. Cahn says the man reacted angrily, questioned him about the book and threatened him with an antisemitic insult before lunging toward the computer.

A struggle followed. Cahn says his arm was injured during the confrontation. Other passengers intervened. According to published accounts, passengers helped restrain the assailant and the confrontation continued until flight attendants and passengers secured him to his seat with duct tape and zip ties.
