Trending News This Week:
- Faith works with hope to bring to pass all of the things that you desire.
What things are you hoping for? What things do you desire? Healing, finances, a good marriage, salvation of your children, a job? Faith will bring those things into manifestation; it is a guarantee!
Hebrews 11:1 tells us: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. There are a couple of things that I want to point out to you about this Scripture:
- Faith is NOW; it is not future tense. If you desire something, you must believe that you receive it NOW, that it already belongs to you. You don’t need faith for something that you already have. Faith is necessary to receive the things that you don’t yet have any evidence of possessing.
- Faith is a substance. The dictionary describes substance this way: “the real physical matter of which a person or thing consists and which has a tangible, solid presence.” So, faith is the real, tangible substance of whatever thing you are hoping for. You could say it like this, as an example: “NOW, faith is the physical matter that makes up my healing, and it is my conviction, my absolute knowing, that healing is mine, even though I can’t yet see it manifested in my body.”
Beloved, faith is believing in the things that you cannot yet see. You must understand that faith is an actual, tangible substance. It is as real as the air you breathe. Now, I suppose that a person could actually suffocate if he utterly convinced himself that because he couldn’t see air, that it wasn’t real. And some people do have a hard time believing in things they cannot see, but Jesus said: … for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you (Matthew 17:20, NASB).
Even the tiniest speck of faith is enough to move a mountain. If you truly believe this, then you are able to do just as Abraham did and “call things that be not as though they were” (Romans 4:17). This means that you have faith for, and speak out, the things that you desire. Speaking them out helps build your faith to receive them. So, whatever your need is, speak it as though you already have it. As an example, if you need healing in your body, begin confessing what you desire: “In the Name of Jesus, I have a healed, healthy, whole, strong body, because He sent His Word and healed me. My body is durable and flexible. All parts function the way God intended.” And if there is something specific – maybe your kidneys aren’t working well – speak over that area: “Kidneys, you perform perfectly. Nothing can hinder your normal functions.”
Beloved, turn loose of your doubt and just receive God’s Word as truth. As soon as you permit yourself to believe God’s Word exactly as it is written, you will find that “nothing is impossible for you.”
Say this faith declaration out loud: Father, I choose to let go of all doubt, fear, and unbelief so that nothing can hinder my ability to receive from You. Faith is a real substance. Your Word is real. It is living and active, and I believe all that You have spoken. I call all of my needs met. It is done, finished, and complete! Amen!

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
