  • Daily, people are bombarded with thoughts that bring fear, depression, and hopelessness. They look at their circumstances and see no chance for victory.

Beloved, the answer doesn’t lie in what you can see, but in what you can’t see. There are answers and victory everywhere, you just have to take hold of what you need by faith—faith that God will do exactly what He says in His Word.

When you are tempted to worry, instead of worrying, set your mind on God and His promises to you. Fill your heart and mind with thoughts of faith, praise, and thanksgiving, even in the midst of the trials and adverse circumstances you are facing. Instead of worrying, begin to praise and give thanks unto God for the answer to your need. And then, STAND!

Once you have prayed, there is no need to keep praying, wondering if God heard your prayers.

The Book of I John tells us:

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

I John 5:14-15

So, if you ask for something according to God’s will, you can know for sure that the Lord heard you, and will answer your prayer. But, there are two important things to remember:

  1. Your prayer must be in alignment with God’s will. (If you don’t know His will, then search His Word until you find a Scripture to stand on for the thing that you need.)
  2. We receive answers to our prayers according to our faith, and our ability and willingness to stand, patiently!

Faith allows us to see beyond what is visible! If you decide that your bank account is empty based on the balance that you see, then you are not believing God’s Word that says He will supply all of your needs (Philippians 4:19). If you determine that you will never be free from that terrible pain or sickness, then you haven’t settled in your heart that by His stripes you are healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Don’t let the devil convince you that “invisible” means not there. Just because you can’t see something does not mean that it is not present. God’s Word is full of invisible power that only becomes visible once you speak it, believe it, and stand on it.

Beloved, having faith means to put your trust in God’s Word, despite what you can see! You must believe it, and then leave it, knowing that God is faithful to fulfill His promises.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Hebrews 10:23

Say this faith declaration out loud: Lord, thank you for your faithfulness to fulfill every one of Your promises. I choose to walk by faith, and not by sight. If Your Word says it, I believe it. Case closed.

Scripture Reading:

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

II Corinthians 4:17-18

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hebrews 11:1

That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory: Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.

I Peter 1:7-9

… blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

John 20:29
