Let me ask you … what was the first thing you thought about when you woke up this morning? Did you think about your problems, or did you think about God and His goodness? Did you take the time to fill your mind with His Word and worship Him?

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

Colossians 4:2, NIV

Prayer doesn’t merely change things; it will change us. As we pray, God reveals His will and ways to us, and then starts to align our hearts and minds with His. Everywhere we turn, prayer should go there with us. Invite the Holy Spirit into every part of your day and watch your day begin to flourish in the joy of His Presence.

Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee.

Psalm 102:1

The will of God is something we need to know more about because there is no way that you can have faith in miracles, healing, or victory over your circumstances if you do not believe it is God’s will to give you deliverance.

When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.

Jonah 2:7

It is God’s will for us to have salvation, prosperity, health, and victory and it is as important for us to know that it is His will for us to know these things. We can never pray the prayer of faith for anything until we know that we are praying for God’s will. The prayer of faith must be tied to infallibility. It cannot be questioned.

Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.

Psalm 55:1

Many people just cannot believe it is God’s will to heal, them nor do they believe it is the will of God to pour out His blessings upon them this day! God’s will for us encompasses many great blessings – total health and well-being, total prosperity, total joy, and spiritual bliss. He knows the desires of our heart.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

Romans 8:26-27, NIV

I have come to know that it is possible to go through struggles without struggling! You are a child of God. God wants your faith so tied to that which is infallible, that nothing – not one circumstance nor your deepest pit – will cause you angst. Fix your hope on the Word of God. Always pray with the joy of the Lord in your heart. ASK!

In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Very truly I tell you, my Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

John 16:23-24, NIV

God has given me a powerful key … praying according to His will. I will not rely on my own limited, natural understanding, but will depend upon the Holy Spirit to pray through the perfect will of the Father. Knowing it is God’s will to prosper and bless me, I will become boldly before the Father, knowing He has heard me and that I have received what I have asked.
