God’s pattern through His Word is that our offerings to God release His blessings.
It was when Abraham presented his ultimate sacrifice … his only son Isaac as an offering to God that God sent His angel to release His ultimate blessing upon Abraham.
… for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea-shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed …because thou hast obeyed my voice. (Genesis 22:17,18)
God the Father’s Blessing upon the children of Israel through the Feasts of Atonement, Passover and Pentecost held a divine condition of bringing to the Father an offering of sacrifice.
… none shall appear before Me empty-handed (Exodus 23:15)
