• CHURCH MEMBERS TAKE THE GOSPEL TO THE STREETS AFTER CHINESE OFFICIALS CLOSE A HOUSE CHURCH – BCN.COM

Right now, you are standing on the street corner of life — this is your life and you are living it today. You are faced with a choice. You can take the street to the left, go home, and continue to live with your need and same circumstances; or you can take the street to the right that leads to Jesus and complete victory.

That’s exactly what members of the house church in Chengdu did after the Chinese government shut them down … they took the street to the right that leads to Jesus and complete victory. Despite the efforts of the Chinese government to silence Christianity and continue to control the people under the Communist party, they carried their morning and evening services out into the streets.

Churchgoers refuse to allow the Chinese government to dictate their lives any longer! Their needs and circumstances are far greater. While at the crossroads, God’s people in China are seeking God and His Word in all circumstances, in all conditions, and to meet all their needs.

Beloved, pray for China. Pray for the universal needs of all God’s people. Bring your prayers to the altar! The work is done. The message has been sent. You are not reading this by chance.

Beloved, know that you are seated above circumstances of defeat. You are positioned for victory! You are not alone! God has promised never to leave you or forsake you.

The LORD will deliver them to you, and you must do to them all that I have commanded you. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Deuteronomy 31:5–6, NIV

God is so good. He never leaves you stranded. His timing is perfect! God orders your steps, and arranges circumstances all around you to accomplish His plans and purposes. Glory to God!

As you pick up your mighty weapon of prayer and begin to struggle against the evil forces that are attacking you, the hosts of heaven join with you in combat! In the battles you are fighting right now in your life — health, family, finances, ministry, and every other area of life — you are not fighting alone. The hosts of heaven are fighting with you. The Almighty God, Jehovah is fighting for you!

If Jesus Christ is your Savior and Lord, then you are the spiritual seed of Abraham, and all the blessings of the Old Testament are for you, too. The promise Moses gave the children of Israel belongs to you: The LORD your God who goes before you will Himself fight on your behalf … (Deuteronomy 1:30, NASB). God sends His angels to protect you and your family from every harm. The angels are fighting for you!

The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.

Psalm 34:7, NIV

Though you may sometimes feel that you are alone and nobody cares, God will send help! It may be a spiritual army of angels. Or, the favor of God will attract people to help you and bring forth blessings into your life. Place your trust in Him. Be quick to hear and obey His instructions. God will send His Holy Spirit to comfort and guide you, and to be your constant companion.

The Holy Spirit is fighting for you! As you begin to pray … the Spirit Himself goes to meet our (your) supplication and pleads in our (your) behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance (Romans 8:26, AMPC).

The reason why many Christians live in defeat is because they are still relying upon their own strength and understanding. They are using carnal weapons instead of the mighty weapons of prayer and fasting. To become the same powerful spiritual warrior as Jesus and live in the same dimension of revelation, you must use the same weapon He used — prayer. You must strip yourself of all self–righteousness and spiritual pride. You must come to a place in your life where you are willing to say as Jesus did, “By Myself I can do nothing.” You must come to a place where you are no longer relying upon your own strength or understanding.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.

Romans 8:26-27, NIV

You must be willing to forsake your way of doing things and develop a day-to-day dependence upon Christ, where you are willing to spend time alone with Him … even if it means getting up at two or three in the morning or spending all night in prayer.

As you come to know, rely, and totally depend upon Jesus in prayer, as He did the Father, you will be able to face your circumstances from the same powerful position of knowing as Jesus did. You will be able to face every circumstance, trial, and test knowing that you will not be defeated.

Remember … you are not alone!

Say this faith declaration out loud: “God has not abandoned me. I am not alone. He goes before me into battle to fight for me.”
