  • Pope on Pentecost: Division isn’t from the Holy Spirit. ~CNA

Beloved, do you want to experience a renewal of the power of Pentecost? The same power as when God literally breathed down spiritual fire in the Upper Room? God wants to pour out His Spirit upon your life—perhaps like you have never experienced before. That’s why I am so excited to share this revelation with you.

God commanded in His Word that we celebrate three feasts. These three major feasts include the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Pesach/Passover), the Feast of Weeks (Shavuot/Pentecost), and the Feast of Tabernacle.

  • In the Feast of Passover, we see the death of Jesus.
  • In the Feast of Tabernacle, we see Jesus as fulfillment of the Scriptures.
  • In the Feast of Pentecost, we see the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and the new covenant that we entered into with God.

God has promised that He would do something incredibly special when we are obedient to partake in these feasts the way He commanded us. This will be a blessing–a miracle outpouring–and a fulfillment so rich that you cannot even grasp its totality.

Pentecost is a special season, a time when God desires His people to experience a powerful release. Jesus told His disciples, … tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high Luke 24:49.

This powerful promise preceded the receiving of the Holy Spirit. Because of their obedience, the believers who waited in the Upper Room were baptized in the Holy Spirit.

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 2:1-4

Israel’s Celebration of Pentecost: The Feast of Pentecost (also called the Feast of Weeks, or Shavuot) was one of seven feasts that God directed Israel to observe. It commemorated the giving of the Law and the covenant that God entered into with Israel on Mount Sinai. This signified the birth of the holy nation of Israel.

Jesus’ Fulfillment of Pentecost: After His resurrection, Jesus appeared and showed Himself through many infallible proofs. For forty days, He met with His disciples and gave them final instructions concerning the Kingdom of God before He ascended to heaven.

On the tenth day after that, when the Day of Pentecost was fully come, they experienced the FULFILLMENT of Pentecost. The fire of God came down, and the Holy Spirit descended upon them in POWER!

Beloved, we celebrate the Feast of Pentecost by proclaiming the Gospel in the same demonstration of power that the disciples manifested! God wants you to heal the sick, cast out devils, and raise the dead! Knowing that the power of the Holy Spirit is working within you, you are more than able to stand against all of the works of the enemy! As Jesus had all power and authority over the devil, so do you, through the Holy Spirit!

Say this faith declaration out loud: Jesus intends for me, as part of the Body of Christ, to have a supernatural experience with Him that causes me to walk in the same manifested demonstration of power as when God literally breathed down spiritual fire in the Upper Room. Signs and wonders will follow me as I yield to His Spirit and walk in the power of His Word. Amen.
