• Countless millions of people die every year from sickness and disease, believing doctors when they say, “There is no hope; you are going to die.”

Beloved, the Word of God says that there is hope. The apostle James wrote:

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; 

James 5:14-15

Notice that the word shall is used, not the word maybe. When the Lord speaks, He is emphatic. You will never find the Lord to be unsure or wishy-washy. He speaks only the truth, and if you will dare to believe Him, you will have exactly what He says.

You might ask, “Brother Cerullo, how do I get the faith to believe for my healing?”

Here is what the Scripture says:

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 10:17

The word hearing is not just referring to one’s sense of hearing with the ear, but also to meditating on His promises until they become rooted and grounded in your heart.

The Book of Proverbs explains how to do that and the benefits thereof:

My son, pay attention to my words and be willing to learn; Open your ears to my sayings. Do not let them escape from your sight; Keep them in the center of your heart. For they are life to those who find them, And healing and health to all their flesh.

Proverbs 4:20-22, AMP

Beloved, you must realize that the Word of God is not like any other word. It is literally alive and full of power, able to accomplish exactly what it says:

For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Hebrews 4:12, AMP

To summarize, when you speak the Word, read the Word, listen to the Word, and meditate on the Word until it takes root in your heart, then your faith strengthens to the point of receiving all that you need. So, when you feel like giving up, realize that God’s Word is life and contains life, and can literally change your body, right down to the cellular level. There is always HOPE with the Word of God!

Say this faith declaration out loud: Lord, thank You for Your living and powerful Word. I will meditate on it day and night, knowing that it contains within itself the ability to heal my body. I choose to believe Your Word, and will stand in faith until I receive what I need. Amen.
