Trending News This Week:
- “Trump is right: Fight against terrorism is battle of ‘good vs. evil’.” (New York Post)
We are living in a time where fear is running rampant and consumes the thoughts and hearts of God’s people. Terrorist groups are attacking in England, Ireland, France, the United States, and all over the world. This is not of God, but of Satan.
If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Psalm 11:3
Listen to me. There is absolutely nothing that Satan can bring into your life that can destroy you — nothing! There is neither weapon nor strategy that he can devise against you that is powerful enough to defeat you. Satan’s objective is to destroy everything you have — your home, your family, your health, your finances, your career, your ministry — everything! His strategy is to sabatoge the circumstances of your life to defeat you.
God will bless you (Psalm 35:27), He wants your bills paid, your needs met, and your family blessed. (Psalm 84:11.) God wants for you to be healthy and active. (I Corinthians 3:16-17.) He wants you to have peace (I Peter 3:11), and not to worry. (Matthew 6:25.)
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
Isaiah 12:2
Satan will grab hold of your mind in a vice. He will bring temptation, fear, worry, and doubt, and will strive to keep your mind in a constant state of turmoil. Using your circumstances, Satan will try to wear you down physically, mentally, and spiritually until discouragement and depression make you throw your hands up in defeat … until you are caught in a vicious cycle that paralyzes and hinders you.
But I say, release your faith and walk in the victory that God has given you! God has provided armour for you to stand against Satan. (Ephesians 6:13-16.) God goes with you to fight for you (Deuteronomy 20:4), and helps you stand against temptation. (I Corinthians 10:13.)
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:10
Good vs. evil is a real fight. However, no matter what circumstances you face, God has promised you the victory! Put on the armour of God, and stand up for good. Do not let evil overwhelm you, or overcome you.
Say this week’s faith declaration out loud: Father, You have promised me victory in every circumstance. I will not be overcome by the evil in this world. I will not live in fear. I will stand in trust and faith. Through Your Word, I have great victory. Hallelujah!
Scripture Reading:
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
John 16:33
Cast your cares upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 55:22
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Joshua 1:9
