- God is a good, good Father.
How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings. They feast on the abundance of your house; you give them drink from your river of delights.
Psalm 36: 7—8, NIV
The greatest need in the lives of those who claim to have a relationship with God, through the Lord Jesus Christ, is an ever—increasing knowledge of God Himself. True wisdom and knowledge can only be found by knowing God and having a personal relationship with him.
It is my prayer that you will increase your knowledge of God and develop a deeper desire to know Him. Get yourself alone with God and begin to know Who He really is.
He is a God of purpose … a God of plan … of design and objectivity. He is a Father who has lost His children and is determined to reconcile with them. God so highly values those in need — the poor, the hungry, the homeless, the fatherless, the sick, the lonely, the lost, and the prisoners. (Matthew 25: 34—40). He wants to restore you and remove all the walls and barriers between you and Him.
God has the same desire and longing for His children as earthly fathers. God wants you to know Him so intensely and intimately that you reflect His nature. You are created in His image. Inside your spirit, your inner being lives by the Spirit of God. You should be a reflection of Christ.
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
Colossians 1:9—10
Beloved, if you want to walk in God’s wisdom, become more acquainted with Christ – the Wisdom of God. All that God is — in attributes, character, power, and glory — is in Jesus.
Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. Christ is the true source of all godly wisdom. He alone can help you experience the close relationship with the Father that your heart desires. To know God as your Father is to know life as He intended it to be. Everything Christ did reveals the unconditional love and marvelous loving kindness of the Father.
It is first pure, peaceable, compassionate, and producing good fruits. This is God’s character being revealed through Christ — the Wisdom of God.
Among all the words in the Bible, one simple word stands alone as the supreme description of the essence of God’s character: LOVE. Love is not just one of God’s attributes, but the very essence of His being. … God is love (I John 4:8). All true love finds its origin in God and flows out from Him, Who is love personified. God’s love is unconditional and is not based upon worth or merit of the object being loved. What an incredible love!
God wants us to have His wisdom … wisdom combined with God’s love. It is not about our wisdom, willpower, or work. It is about loving the Lord with all our heart, soul, and strength, and then loving others.

Daniel 11:32—33
Beloved, take this time NOW to praise the Lord for His goodness towards you. He brought you into His family through His son, Jesus; and you are able to go into the Holy of Holies and have free access into the heavenly Father’s Presence. He desires to meet with you and have a personal, intimate relationship with you. He loves you. You are His child. Give Him your whole heart out of a desire to please your Creator, and trust in Him totally. He desires to give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.
No power on earth or in hell can stop God’s blessings upon your life as you walk in obedience to God and act, in faith, on his promises.
Say this faith declaration out loud: “God has promised that I will be satisfied with the abundance of His house. I receive this promise into my spirit now and act, in faith, knowing He will do all He has promised.”
