We have experienced pestilences, earthquakes, wars, and rumors of impending wars, including a third world war. We are watching the people of the Earth grow colder and more hardened towards the things of God. Saints are being persecuted around the world, and we have seen strange weather and atmospheric phenomenon. What do these things mean?
When the disciples asked Jesus when the end of the world would be, Jesus replied:
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Matthew 24:5-14
These words do not paint a pleasant picture of things to come. And be not deceived, there will come a time when the goats will be separated from the sheep, and all people of the Earth will need to decide which side of the fence they will stand on.
Do not be fooled into thinking that things will be easy for those who have professed Christ.
Jesus said:
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
Matthew 24:21-22
Jesus also said:
Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
Revelation 3:10
Notice that the protection that Jesus has promised is for those who have “kept the word of [His] patience.” There will be no protection for those who have not kept His Word, which includes the backslidden.
Beloved, rise up in the immovable, unshakeable, supernatural faith of God, and shake your city and nation with a manifestation of God’s supernatural protection and provision.
Say this faith declaration out loud: Father, I repent of my sins. I choose to make Jesus the Lord of my life. I know that sin brings death, but that Jesus brings eternal life. I choose life.
Scripture Reading:
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Deuteronomy 30:19
Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
John 14:6
But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
II Chronicles 4:3-5
