- Faith the size of a grain of mustard seed is powerful enough to bring all of your prayers to fruition.
When the manifestation of faith is truly in our lives, it cannot be explained. It doesn’t make any difference what we are facing, how big it is, or what it is – there is an absence of doubt, fear, and concern.
To break through the wall of unbelief, you must get your eyes off your circumstances and focus your faith upon God. God’s Word is living and active and more powerful than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), and when you put your trust in the Lord, you cannot fail to receive.
When Peter stepped out of the safety of the boat to go towards Jesus, as long as he kept his eyes squarely on Jesus, he was able to do the impossible and walk on water. It was only when he became more focused on the storm raging around him that he began to sink.
Beloved, Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6); if you look to Him for your strength, and abide in His Words, you will be able to conquer every circumstance that tries to hinder you. You will run and not be weary (Isaiah 40:31), you will be the head and not the tail (Deuteronomy 28:13), and you will be victorious through our Lord Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 15:57).
Don’t allow your circumstances to overwhelm you; Jesus has already defeated the devil. Stand strong in your faith in God and the finished work of Jesus on the cross, and nothing will be impossible to you (Matthew 9:29).
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
I John 5:4
When we acknowledge who we are in Christ, it is easier to realize the victory that we already have through faith in Jesus.
Hebrews 11 reminds us of many examples where faith was exercised to receive victory:
By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous . . . (11:4).
By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death . . . (11:5).
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house . . . (11:7).
By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed . . . By faith he sojourned in the land of promise . . . For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised (11:8-11).
By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come (11:20).
By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season (11:24-25).
By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned (11:29).
By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days (11:30).
Beloved, by faith, you too can be victorious! Don’t stop now; you’ve come too far!
Say this faith declaration out loud: Dear Lord Jesus, I am taking my eyes off of the storms in my life and putting them back on You where they belong. I refuse to doubt. I will stand firmly on my faith in You and expect the impossible.
