Dear Friend,

  If you are facing a Goliath in your life, don’t miss your ordained moment.

  NOW is your time to be strong in your battle against the giants in your life. Begin to proclaim the promises of God over your finances, your health, and your family circumstances. Speak to those situations that have hindered you in faith.

  Know this … The birth of your turnaround … the BREAKTHROUGH you need, is always preceded by SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Remember the day King Saul and the army of Israel faced off against the army of the Philistines across the Valley of Elah.

  From the Philistines, a giant named Goliath stepped forward and challenged the army of Israel and God Himself. He was so large, his shield had to be carried by another soldier. Fear struck the hearts of the men in Israel’s army. Who could defeat a man as massive as the warrior Goliath?

  You may be facing a battle … a “Goliath” … a circumstance in your life that needs a supernatural, divine intervention from God to resolve.

  Your “Goliath” might be in your health or your finances. Maybe your “Goliath” is an unsaved loved one who needs to come to Jesus. Perhaps your “Goliath” is a struggling marriage.

YOUNG DAVID DEFEATS HIS GIANT!

  Look with me for a moment at how David defeated the Goliath he faced.

First, David recognized he had no power or might in himself to defeat Goliath. David faced Goliath in the name of the Lord of hosts.

  You must face your “Goliath” in the name of the Lord as well!

Second, David did something very unusual. He prophesied over the giant he was facing: “This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you … that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel” (1 Samuel 17:46).

  Wow! Bold words from a young boy with no training in war as a soldier, with no armor or conventional weapons of war, who was about to face a 9-foot-tall giant with a huge javelin!

  David recognized Goliath was NOTHING compared to HIS GOD! His God was more than able to deal with this Philistine giant.

  Third, David took action. He had to engage in the battle. As he ran toward the army of the Philistines to meet Goliath, David put his hand in his bag, took out a stone, placed it in his sling, hurled it at Goliath, and struck him in his forehead!

  Goliath fell on his face to the earth. David ran, took Goliath’s sword, and cut off his head. A gruesome story, yes, but what an incredible victory! David had faith that his God was able to deliver him. Have faith in God. He CAN and WILL deliver you from your “Goliath”!

  Start by taking action against your giant.

  There are SEVEN STEPS you can take today to win the victory over whatever “Goliath” you’re facing.

7. Praise God for the answer before it comes to pass.

Friend, I want you to sit down right now, not later today, but right now and defeat the Goliath in your life by sowing a seed for the victory you need.

  This is the critical step you can’t overlook!

  The Word tells us that our faith is perfected by the actions that we take. David’s actions aligned with his faith in God, and he won the victory.

As James 2:22 reminds us that like David’s, Abraham’s faith and actions “… were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.”

  Remember, FAITH is a FACT, and FAITH is an ACT!

  Friend, when you activate your faith and Sow a Seed as your “warfare” offering, it is a demonstration of your trust in God’s power to bring you Victory Over Your Goliath!”
