While Theresa and I were in Israel, we shut ourselves away from all distractions for a special time of concentrated prayer. During that time alone with God, He spoke to me very clearly, giving us the new direction He wants us to take.

This is God’s Mandate to us:

The prayer and fasting must continue! God’s mandate to us is to stay before Him…continuing constant in prayer…and enter into a new spiritual bond and relationship with one another…and with Him…through a consistent time of prayer and fasting on a regular basis.

God has shown me that during this 40-day fast, for many of you He has started a new work, but in the lives of many others His work has not yet started. This is not the time for you to stop…but to PERSEVERE IN THE SPIRIT so that God’s work in your life will continue and be brought to its full completion!

God wants to take us from VICTORY to VICTORY…not from VICTORY to DEFEAT …DEFEAT to DISCOURAGEMENT!

Because of this prophetic hour we are in, and the battles we must face…that are DAILY battles…not just one-time battle experiences, God wants to take us another step further into a rhythm of Victory Miracle Living through a consistent, regular commitment to prayer and fasting.

WHILE I WAS IN ISRAEL, GOD SPOKE TO ME AND SAID, “SON, I WANT TO MAKE MY PEOPLE INTERCESSORS!”

He is directing us to develop a consistent program of prayer and fasting, whereby we, as the World Evangelism family, commit to fasting and prayer on a regular basis…

  • not just one time for 21 days…
  • not just one time for 40 days…

…as we have done. Through these experiences, God has shown me the incredible purpose and value that He wants accomplished through a consistent, regular commitment to fasting and prayer as part of our lives.

THE PRAYER AND FASTING MUST NOT STOP!

Hear and understand clearly what God has shown me!

In these final closing hours of time before Christ’s return, it is going to take a strong, disciplined, consistent lifestyle of prayer and fasting to enable us to stand strong and immovable against the onslaught of the enemy upon our lives, upon our family members and loved ones.

The only way you will be able to walk in the power and anointing God has planned for you…and to experience 100 percent victory in every area of your life…is to make this dedication and commitment to God concerning prayer and fasting. This is not something we can take lightly or do only occasionally, when we are pressed in on every side and it seems there is no way out.

In Israel — God spoke to me and said, “Your partners must not stop prayer and fasting!”

The apostle Paul told the believers in the Colossian Church:

Be earnest and unwearied and steadfast in your prayer (life), being (both) alert and intent in (your praying) with thanksgiving.
Colossians 4:2, TAB

Paul said, “Don’t be weary…be STEADFAST in your prayers.” In problems and circumstances you are facing, you may have prayed and prayed, but you still haven’t seen any changes…the answer hasn’t come and you are becoming weary. Beloved, this is not the time for you to stop…be steadfast! Be on your guard…alert with your prayers!

Paul told the Ephesians:

Pray at all times — on every occasion, in every season — in the Spirit, with all (manner of) prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).
Ephesians 6:18, TAB

IT’S TIME TO PERSEVERE IN PRAYER!

We are to pray continually…at all times. In our prayers we are to keep alert…on the cutting edge…persevering and INTERCEDING on behalf of ALL saints. God wants to make us INTERCESSORS…to bring us into a new realm of prayer and fasting where not only are we receiving answers to our prayers in our personal lives and for our families, but where we are joined together in a strong bond of prayer and fasting for members of the Body of Christ around the world.

Paul wrote to the Philippian Church:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Philippians 4:6, NIV

Praise is to ACCOMPANY our prayers! Not

only are we to pray about everything, but as we pray we are to present our requests to God WITH THANKSGIVING…praising Him for who He is and what we are believing Him to do!

Paul told the believers in the Church in Thessalonica, “Be unceasing in prayer — praying perseveringly” (I Thessalonians 5:17, TAB).

Peter instructed believers, “But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer” (I Peter 4:7).

PERSISTENT PRAYER AND PRAISE SETS IN
MOTION YOUR VICTORY!

We are to SET A WATCH in prayer. It is not sufficient to pray only when we feel like it, when we face a great need or when we are being attacked by the enemy. We’ve got to SET A WATCH…be on guard…at all times, through steadfast, persistent prayers and intercession.

This continual, PERSISTENT prayer was the key to the release and awesome manifestation of the power of God within the early Church. On the day of Pentecost, when God poured out His Spirit upon them, they were joined together in united prayer…in one mind and one accord. From the very first day of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the believers “continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. Praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved” (Acts 2:42, 47).

They were steadfast in their prayers. They didn’t give up…they persevered. As they prayed, they praised God. As a result, His power was released in their lives and they walked in a powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit. God’s power poured through them, healing the sick, proclaiming the Word with boldness, casting out demons, and building the kingdom of God.

After Peter and John had been imprisoned and had been commanded not to speak or preach about Jesus, the first thing the Church did was to join together in INTENSIFIED prayer. They united together. “And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together” (Acts 4:31).

As the believers began to cry out to God, the power of the Holy Spirit was released in such a strong manifestation the building where they were assembled together was shaken. “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the Word of God with boldness” (Acts 4:31).

Later when Peter was thrown into prison, we find the church interceding upon his behalf, “prayer was made without ceasing of the Church unto God for him” (Acts 12:5). As a result of their prayer, an angel was dispatched to deliver Peter out of prison. His chains were broken and he was supernaturally led by an angel through the prison guards and out of prison. When they came to the iron gate, God caused it to open of its own accord and Peter walked through it, down the streets to Mary’s house, “where many were gathered together praying” (Acts 12:12).

In the midnight hour we see Paul and Silas, who had been beaten and thrown into prison, praying and singing praises unto God!

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.
Acts 16:25-26

There in that cold, dark prison cell, their backs bleeding, their feet in stocks, chains on their hands, Paul and Silas began to cry out to God…to bombard heaven with their prayers. As they began to pray, the praises of God began to flow out of the depths of their innermost beings and they began to sing praises unto God!

Without this same mighty prevailing prayer on a consistent day-to-day, week after week, month after month basis, we will be unable to have the fullness of God’s power released within our midst to fulfill His plan and purpose in this endtime hour.

GOD IS CALLING YOU TO BE AN
INTERCESSOR!

In these final closing moments of time before Christ returns, there must be a return to deep intercession and INTENSIFIED PRAYER linked together with praise!

As the Church began to multiply and the responsibilities of administration continually increased, the Apostles did not allow themselves to get caught up and involved in fulfilling these responsibilities. They made a commitment before God which, I believe, was the one major key to the tremendous growth and effectiveness of the early church.

They said, we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word” (Acts 6:4). This was the focus and priority of their lives. They consecrated and devoted themselves CONTINUALLY TO PRAYER and the ministry of the Word! This is the type of commitment we need in the leadership of the Church today!

Don’t forfeit your victory to the devil…persevere in prayer!

God has given us a mandate and is calling us to make a new consecration and commitment of ourselves, our time and our energy, to prayer and INTERCESSION.

God told me,

“Son, I want to make My people intercessors.”

The type of prayer and intercession God is calling us to is not an occasional, five-minute prayer offered up hurriedly before falling asleep at night or a cry for help in the time of trouble. It is not just the time of prayer offered up to God during worship services on Sunday or simply petitioning God for our own personal needs.

An “INTERCESSOR” is an individual who stands in the gap…who seeks the Presence of God and intercedes on behalf of others.

Moses was an intercessor on behalf of the children of Israel. When God was ready to completely destroy them because of their sin against Him and worship of the golden calf, Moses stood in the gap. He went up to Mount Sinai and fasted and prayed there forty days and nights, before God, on their behalf. Moses prostrated himself before God and pleaded with Him to spare the children of Israel. God heard his prayers and did not destroy them. “Then the Lord turned from the evil which He had thought to do to His people” (Exodus 32:14, TAB).

When Daniel understood the prophecies from Jeremiah concerning God’s judgments and 70 years of desolation that were coming upon the people of Israel, he INTERCEDED upon their behalf. Daniel said, “And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes” (Daniel 9:3).

Daniel stood in the gap and pleaded with God on behalf of the people of Israel. He confessed their sins and asked for His great mercy to be extended toward them. He cried out, “Give ear, 0 God, and hear; open your eyes and see the desolation of the city that bears your Name. We do not make requests of you because we are righteous, but because of your great mercy. 0 Lord, listen! 0 Lord, forgive! 0 Lord, hear and act! For your sake, 0 my God, do not delay” (Daniel 9:18-19, NIV).

This is the type of intercession we must have today, ascending up to God in EVERY city and EVERY nation until He supernaturally intervenes, delivers His people out of the hands of the enemy and heals our nations.

Are you willing to be one of God’s Endtime Intercessors for your family, your church, your city, your nation?

The type of intercession God is calling us to, must become part of our lifestyle. We are to pray “unceasingly”…continually…night and day…everywhere we go…on the job…at home…as we walk down the streets of our cities…as we travel in our cars…as we rise in the morning…throughout the day and at the end of the day before we go to bed at night.

Paul said, “Pray at all times!” He said, “‘Keep alert! Watch in prayer! Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit! Be constant in prayer, pray without ceasing!”

This is the call of the Spirit of God TO YOU today!

DON’T FORFEIT YOUR VICTORY
TO THE DEVIL!

To realize and take possession of the victories God has given us in the nations of the world, we must PERSEVERE IN PRAYER until the power of the enemy is broken and God has manifested His power on our behalf. Too often Christians forfeit the battle, not because of the power of the enemy, but because they fail to persevere in prayer. When they don’t see the answer to their prayers, they become weary. They give up and stop praying.

Jesus taught his disciples to pray always and not give up. “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” (Luke 18:1). We must continually persevere in prayer and NEVER GIVE UP!

He told them a parable concerning a widow and an unjust judge. This widow came to the judge and cried out to him, “Avenge me of mine adversary” (Luke 18:3). At first the judge ignored her request and refused to do anything for her. But, she refused to give him any rest. She refused to give up! Instead, she just kept coming to him time after time, pleading and asking him to intervene on her behalf.

The unjust judge grew tired of her continually coming before him and intervened upon her behalf. He did not help her because he had any regard for her life nor because he feared God. He did it simply because he knew she would keep on asking…and keep on asking…until he was weary and exhausted by her continual requests.

Jesus told His disciples that if the unjust judge acted on this widow’s behalf simply because he didn’t want to continually be bothered, SURELY God will intervene in behalf of His very own elect…His chosen people. He said, “And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily” (Luke 18:7-8).

Will God answer the prayers you have been praying night and day unto Him? The answer is YES!

The reason why many Christians are not receiving answers to their prayers is because they are becoming weary… fainthearted and are giving up instead of persevering in the Spirit. Jesus said, “men ought always to pray, and not to faint.” In this parable He gives us the promise that God will not only hear, He will answer!

He will AVENGE us of our adversary who is coming against us!

He will meet our needs!

He will intervene in our circumstances and make us victorious…but we must PERSEVERE IN PRAYER!

ACCEPT THIS GODGIVEN MANDATE!

God has given us this new mandate to join together in a bond of prayer and fasting on a consistent basis each week. It is not something we can take lightly. It is a MANDATE…not a choice. But, you do have a choice to follow what God is saying. He wants to take you deeper in the Spirit. Don’t stop the progress God has been making in your life!

As you take this most important step, I urge you to accept God’s mandate. Fill out the enclosed God’s Endtime Intercessor’s prayer and fasting commitment and rush it to me so that I will know that I can count on you to stand with me each week in fasting and prayer.

Not only is God directing us to INTENSIFY OUR PRAYERS AND INTERCESSION, He has shown me we must “FORTIFY AND STRENGTHEN OUR HEARTS” for this endtime hour. All the strategies Satan used against us are aimed at our most vulnerable point…at the very center of our existence…our hearts. You must know how to win the battle for your heart. If you fail to fortify your heart, you will be shaken!

You are only as strong spiritually as the condition of your heart!
