The final step in preparing yourself for the power of God’s New Beginnings is to know the power of God’s grace and forgiveness. As a child of God, you may already feel that you know everything that God has for you in these areas, but most of the Church still needs a revelation.

A person experiencing the regenerative power of God’s blood, the security of God’s love, and who has accepted Christ as their personal Lord and Savior may still, at times, battle with guilt, condemnation and a host of other things designed to lock him into his past. Although this Christian has been saved, he may not ever reach the power of God’s New Beginnings without this revelation of God’s incredible grace and forgiveness.

BE STRONG IN THE GRACE THAT IS YOURS IN CHRIST

Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.

Hebrews 12:28-29

Most Christians today have a very limited understanding of the grace of God; and the unlimited mercy and forgiveness that flows forth from His grace. As a result, there are many who are still living in fear, guilt and condemnation concerning the sins of their past. Others, not knowing how to receive His grace and appropriate it in their lives are weak and unable to overcome temptation when faced with it.

There are Christians today who believe their sins are justified and that God overlooks them because of His grace. They reason that since we are no longer under the Law but living under grace, they can continue sinning, fulfilling the lusts of their flesh and still be justified and acceptable in God’s sight.

God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? What then? Shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Romans 6:2,15

There are ministers today who are preaching grace and forgiveness without requiring true repentance; justification of sin, instead of justification of the sinner; grace without true discipleship and a willingness to live a life of obedience to Christ.

Within the Body of Christ, we see very little of the grace of God and His forgiveness being manifested between members. Instead of extending God’s grace, mercy and forgiveness to other members who have made mistakes, Christians are quick to criticize gossip and backbite. This not only hinders the one making the mistake from entering into the New Beginning God has prepared for him, it hinders the person doing the criticizing as well because it denies a true revelation of grace.

Instead of forgiving and being reconciled to their brothers and sisters in the Lord who hurt or mistreat them, they fight back…they quarrel…they harbor resentment and lash out in anger. Instead of taking the wrong as the Scriptures teach, they take their brothers or sisters to court.

Instead of restoring and lifting up weaker members of the Body who have needs and faults, many Christians become self-righteous and set themselves up on a high spiritual plane as judges.

Instead of walking in a covenant relationship with one another, where they are taking the needs and faults of each other to God in prayer, praying the problem through and forgiving one another, they ostracize their fallen brothers and sisters and cut off their relationships.

However, it is through a new revelation of Grace that we are going to be able to stand in the New Beginning God has ordained for us.

A VISIBLE MANIFESTATION OF GOD’S GRACE AND FORGIVENESS MUST COME FORTH TODAY!

This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

H Timothy 1:9-10, NW

Through a divine manifestation of His great love, God extended His grace toward us while we were still polluted, dead in our sins and deserving of punishment. God saved us, joined us together with Christ, raised us up with Him and seated us together with Him as joint-heirs of the kingdom of God.

Paul told the Ephesians:

But God! So rich is he in his mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, Even when we were dead (slain) by (our own) shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ. He gave us the very life of Christ Himself the same new life with which He quickened Him. (For) it is by grace – that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation). And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together – giving us joint seating with Him – in the heavenly sphere (by virtue of our being) in Christ Jesus, the Messiah, the Anointed One.

Ephesians 2:4-6, TAB

Now, notice His purpose:

He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come that immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 2:7, TAB

God has planned to demonstrate the immeasurable, limitless, surpassing riches of His grace in and through our lives!

God has shown me that one of the things that we must now achieve if we are to experience the force of God’s New Beginnings is to have a visible manifest within the Body of Christ of God’s grace and forgiveness. We must experience God’s grace to the point that we are demonstrating it to one another in all our relationships. As we demonstrate this level of grace, it will take over our spiritual lives to the point that our past failures and problems will fade away with the New Beginning God is giving us.

GOD IS SAYING, “MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT!”

By His Spirit, God is speaking to us today to come before Him and draw upon His grace for ALL the needs that we have. Knowing that Christ stands before the Father as our Great High Priest interceding upon our behalf, we are to come boldly before God knowing that our needs will be met.

Paul said:

Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace – the throne of God’s unmerited favor (to us sinners); that we may receive mercy (for our failures) appropriate help and well -timed help, coming just when we need it.

Hebrews 4:16, TAB

Whatever the needs and problems you are facing, God has already made provision to meet every one. The grace God has given you through Christ is sufficient for every need you have.

If you are suffering pain and sickness in your body, He is saying to you, “My grace is sufficient!”

If your marriage is falling apart or you are facing a crisis in your family with your children, he is saying to you today, “My grace is sufficient!”

If you are struggling, worrying about what to do concerning your financial problems, God is saying to you, “My grace is sufficient!”

If you have struggled and struggled to overcome sin in your life but have failed, God is saying to you, “My grace is sufficient!”

You may be crying out to God saying, “I need a new beginning even though I don’t deserve it!” God is saying to you, “My grace is sufficient!”

YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN YOUR SPIRITUAL BATTLES

God never meant for you to try to carry your burdens or face your battles alone or in your own strength. He hasn’t planned for you to go lacking. He has promised His grace and help in time of need.

Jesus, your Great High Priest is praying…interceding before the Father…on behalf of your needs and in order for you to experience a New Beginning with God!

RECEIVE A NEW REVELATION OF THE IMMEASURABLE, LIMITLESS SURPASSING RICHES OF HIS GRACE!

God’s grace is the free, unmerited favor of God that he has bestowed upon man through Jesus. His grace in our lives signifies basically two things:

  1. The goodwill he extends toward us.
  2. The work of His grace in us.

To more fully understand the exceeding riches of God’s grace that is ours, we must go to the source.

According to His great purpose and plan, even before the foundation of the earth, God planned to extend His Grace    His free, unmerited favor.. to man. Through the working of His grace within us, He planned to give us the power, the ability and everything necessary to live a holy and righteous life acceptable to Him.

Paul told Timothy that God “has saved us and called us to a holy life – not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time” (II Timothy 1:9, NIV).

Before He formed the earth and placed man upon it, He gave us His unlimited grace through Jesus. The fullness and glory of His grace was in Jesus and was manifested…revealed… to the world through His life, death and resurrection.

Paul said:

…This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior; Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

II Timothy 1:9-10

Just as Jesus was a full manifestation of God’s love, so was He a full manifestation of God’s grace.

THROUGH HIS GRACE WE HAVE THE POWER, ABILITY AND EVERYTHING WE NEED TO LIVE A HOLY LIFE AND RECEIVE GOD’S NEW BEGINNING!

We have received the fullness of God’s grace into our lives through Jesus. Through our union and communion with Him, God’s grace is manifested and works within us to fulfill His purposes. Paul said:

For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Philippians 2:13

It is through God’s grace working within us that gives us the will to live a holy life that is pleasing in God’s sight, and also gives us the ability to do it! There is no strength or merit in ourselves. We cannot do anything in our own strength. All that is accomplished in and through us is due to His abundant grace that is at work within us.

Paul told the believers in the Corinthian Church:

I always thank God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. For in him you have been enriched in every way – in all your speaking and in all your knowledge – because our testimony about Christ was confirmed in you. Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will keep you strong to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

I Corinthians 1:4-9, NIV

Through the grace these believers had received through Jesus, they were enriched and given spiritual gifts. Paul said they did not lack in any spiritual gift. Through the grace that was theirs in Christ they were given the power, the ability and everything necessary to live a holy and righteous life.

Paul assured them, “He will keep you strong to the end that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

He wanted them to know that through the grace they had received through Christ, they were strong.

They had no power within themselves to live the holy and righteous life God had called them to. It was not through their own efforts, but through the grace of Almighty God working in them that they would be sustained and kept until the end.

In the same way, you will never _ qualify yourself for a New Beginning with God. You will never be able to motivate God to give it to you. He is willing because of the grace He has given you through Jesus Christ.

Even though you may have failed as a Christian, God has a New Beginning for you!

Now, as you draw a line on the past…as you allow the power of the Blood of Jesus to move in your life…as you experience the supernatural force of God’s love, you are ready to accept and experience the force of God’s New Beginnings!

God has prepared a New Beginning for you that does not include your past failures, trials and tragedies. It is a beginning like Genesis, where all is created out of the Word God speaks and not of the mind or memory of man.

In your New Beginning, your financial strategies of the past must fade away as you commit to listening to the Holy Spirit on every decision you make. Your social strategies will give way to the favor of God establishing relationships in your life. Your relationships will be guided by the fruit of the Spirit, and your self- image will not be inflated or deflated by pride or rejection. You will begin to find your identity in Jesus Christ.

This New Beginning from God will take you into the place where you are unhindered by any emotional, financial, spiritual or social baggage from the past. You will be able to walk in the constant power of the Holy Ghost, with the gifts of the Spirit active constantly as well. You will have constant communion with God and will forsake the carnality of the world!

The power of God moving in you will convict others of sin!

You will have a craving for prayer and study of God’s Word!

You won’t be moved by the six o’clock news! You will only be moved by the Spirit of God!

Reach out to God right now and claim it out loud:

This is my day for a new beginning!
